No, university members can’t schedule appointments at the University Hospital through the Medical Administration.

Can university members schedule appointments at the University Hospital through the Medical Administration?

-       Some specialized clinics are not available at the administration and which are required for the prescription of specific kinds of medicine .

-       Some drugs need to be stored in a special way and for specific time, such as insulin.

-       Lack of specialists in transferring medicines safely.

Why are most medicine not available?

Medicine is distributed thought medical prescriptions issued by the Medical Administration female doctors. The prescription includes the drugs name and dose, and is signed and stamped from the doctor. The medication registered in the patient’s electronic medical file are the only ones to be given, and we apologize for not distributing any external prescriptions.

How are medicines distributed?

Lack of availability of children’s vaccinations is due to the unavailability of specialized pediatrics. However, seasonal vaccinations are available, like: forklift fever and flu. With the cooperation of other health sectors, like the ministry of health, we organize vaccination campaigns on campus, such as measles.

Why are vaccinations not always available?

We deal with emergency cases through operations and from there to the emergency trainees trained to deal with emergency cases and who transfer the case to the Medical Administration at the Women's Campus.

Why aren’t there any nurses for emergency cases?

To safeguard against loss during manual transfer to the Medical Administration. In the near future, both branches of the administration will be via an electronic program where results can be obtained.

Why can’t lab test be obtained through the Medical Administration at the Women's Campus?
